ESPN has inked a deal with modest-sized cable operator Windstream, giving its broadband customers access to the online live sports hub ESPN360.com. Little Rock, Ark.-based Windstream serves about 1
million broadband homes. ESPN charges MSOs a TV-style affiliate fee for rights to offer ESPN360.com. It has recently inked deals with large MSOs such as Comcast and Cox, and says the service is now in
50 million-plus homes.
