IFC is debuting two food-themed original series this April: "Food Party" and "Dinner with the Band." They will air within the network's Automat block. "Food Party" is hosted by Brooklyn fringe artist
Thu Tran, and a mix of unruly puppets who serve as her culinary crew. In their surreal live-action cartoon-like universe, Thu and friends create delicacies with ingredients commonly found in the
average kitchen. "Dinner with the Band" is an alternative food show combining culinary delights, musical performances and conversations with acclaimed indie bands.
