MSLO Greenlights 'Help Me, Martha'

Martha Stewart

The last time Martha Stewart and Mark Burnett partnered on a reality series, it flopped. But they're at it again with an hour-long "Help Me, Martha!," though no network has been named to air it.

The last Martha show was on NBC, where Burnett and Donald Trump created a spinoff of "The Apprentice" series for Stewart in the fall of 2005 that drew mediocre ratings.

The eight-episode series was revealed at an upfront presentation Thursday for the multiple properties within Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

Episodes will run an hour, with Stewart and experts assisting in navigating trouble spots, such as potential wedding imbroglios, having to throw together a party at the last minute and overhauling a home. No airdate has been announced.

Burnett's production company has been involved with the syndicated "Martha Stewart Show," which is moving to Hallmark Channel in the fall.

Other new MSLO properties announced to advertisers include a one-off "digital magazine" tabbed "Boundless Beauty" coming later this year. Available on digital tablets, it will offer "touch-optimized navigation" with audio and video content.

Stewart's deal with Hallmark includes the development of original series and prime-time specials, which will include a 20th anniversary celebration of her flagship magazine in December.
