Charter Comm Is Out With Smartphone Apps

Cable provider Charter Communications has launched mobile applications for iPhones and BlackBerry that allows customers to access up-to-date information about Charter services, including programming, news and information and access to Charter's customer service.

The St. Louis-based company has also relaunched its web site with new customization tools and easier access to e-mail and social networking sites. --Aaron Baar
