Subway Restaurants and Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light are sponsoring the first-ever USA 7's Rugby Collegiate Championship Invitational, which will be broadcast live on NBC from Columbus Crew Stadium on June 5 and 6. Universal Sports also will carry the broadcast on Saturday and Sunday.

The USA 7's Rugby Collegiate Championship Invitational is a Rugby Sevens tournament featuring 16 historically significant collegiate rugby teams, and will serve as a preview of the talent pool for the 2016 U.S. Olympic team.

As sponsors of the rugby invitational, Subway and Bud Light will have exclusive category rights, signage throughout the stadium, commercial spots during the live broadcast, and pre-promotional TV spots leading up to the event. They also will have digital presence online at NBCSports.com and USASevensCCI.com.

Subway says the tournament will be a platform for showing a new line of breakfast sandwiches. --Karl Greenberg
