Euro RSCG 4D Discovery Names New CEO

Euro RSCG 4D Discovery, the data and analytics arm of Havas' Euro RSCG Worldwide, on Thursday named Clive Maclean as its new CEO. Maclean is replacing Zain Raj, who spent the past three years at Euro RSCG 4D Discovery, and is moving on to an unspecified "leadership role" at Chicago-based private equity firm Lake Capital.

Effective immediately, Maclean will be expected to drive growth and deliver clients a more unified and digital-focused offering.

"Clive not only understands the importance of the role of data and analytics, but he's a leader in the digital space -- something crucial to the success of every single one of our clients," said Ron Bess, president and COO of Euro RSCG North America.

Most recently, Maclean worked with Naked, Engauge and Whittmanhart through his consultancy Clive Maclean Consulting.

Euro RSCG 4D Discovery considers itself a data analytics, CRM and behavioral marketing agency network. The agency combines research -- behavioral, attitudinal and lifestyle data -- to develop insights to help clients build loyalty, increase share and create personal connections to their brands.

Clients include Diageo, IBM, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Sprint, IBM, and Blockbuster.

Previously, Maclean served as North American president of The Marketing Store, where he worked with clients including McDonald's, Coca-Cola and Allstate.

Before joining The Marketing Store, Maclean ran Kestenbaum Consulting, part of WPP's Wunderman.

Maclean also served as president of FCB Direct in Chicago as well as Leo Burnett Interactive in South Africa, where he is originally from.

Raj is expected to continue to support Euro RSCG 4D Discovery during a transition period through the end of June.
