LAWRENCE S. FRIED has joined SQAD Inc. as Chief Revenue Officer/Network TV. Fried joins SQAD with over 30 years' experience in advertising, sales and sales management.
STEVE SUTER and SAM ASHENOFSKY have been named Marketing Managers for National Cable Communications. Suter joined NCC in 1991 as a Chicago-based Account Executive, while Ashenofsky most recently served as an Account Executive with United Television Sales.

TIM RICHARDSON has joined Alcott Routon as director of strategic planning. Prior to joining Alcott Routon, Richardson was vice president of strategic marketing for Weberize, a provider of custom web-based marketing and e-commerce solutions.
KEITH DUNDAS has been named Vice-President, Marketing at RareMethod. Dundas joins RareMethod from Gettyworks, where he was Director of Marketing Communications.
JOHN STONE has been appointed to the newly created position of Director of E-mail News Service Sales for Biomedical Market Newsletter Inc, based in Costa Mesa CA. Stone was previously at Kern Direct in the San Fernando Valley and is a long-time industry veteran with over 20 years of publishing and sales experience.
JOHN COSTELLO has been named chief global marketing officer at Yahoo! Inc. Costello was president and CEO of MVP.com, an Internet sporting goods and outdoor e-commerce company.
CRAIG PATTERSON has been promoted to agency President at JWT Tech. In 1998, Patterson joined JWT Tech as Vice President of Client Services.
STEVE BERGER has been named National Accounts Director at GeigerDonnelly Marketing, LLC. Berger brings more than twenty years of experience in marketing and promotions management to GDM.
ELIZABETH BARNES has been named Account Supervisor at Wilkins Media Company. Barnes was promoted to Client Services at Wilkins in September of 2000. Also at Wilkins, SCOTT KIRBY has been named Southeast Regional Account Executive. He had been Director of Franchise Sales at Suburban Lodges of America, Inc.
EastWest Creative, a full-service promotion marketing agency, announced the appointments of SARAH O'LEARY as Vice President, Strategic Development and CHRISTOPHER BRAGAS as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. O'Leary was most recently with The Regan Group as vice president of marketing, while Bragas had been at Don Jagoda Associates, where he developed the Dilbert Zone and launched AT&T's WorldNet Service. Also at EastWest Creative, ROD GONZALEZ was appointed senior creative director. Prior to EastWest, Gonzalez was a VP Group Creative Director at The Guild Group. ED CATTO was named group account director. He most recently served as VP of Marketing at Bigstar.com. TONY BOSCO joined EastWest Creative as an Account Director. Bosco had been a Director of Strategic Planning for BEN Marketing Group. Lastly, JEANINE ULLMAN joins EastWest Creative as Director, Strategic Alliances. Prior to joining EastWest, Ullman developed strategic partnerships for clients at The Alliance Group.
MICHAEL SPIESMAN, President of Continental Television Sales, has been named to the Hundred Plus Markets Television Committee of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
Steve Farella, CEO of Havas' Media Planning, has left the company after heading it for two years.
Sideshow Network Inc., an interactive marketing communication firm based in Tustin, has named LINDA ZIMMER as its new chief executive officer. Zimmer replaces former CEO Greg Young. She previously served as chief operations officer and will remain on the company's board of directors.
