Theoriginalsneaker.com commemorates 100 years of Keds' sneaker-making by taking a look at the past 10 decades in a simple, appealing format that presents the shoe of each era (limited edition recreations are for sale) front and center while also providing historical bits and photos about each year of that particular decade - from Hollywood gossip to space exploration to notorious volcanic eruptions. Each decade runs along the bottom of the page, so you never have to scroll, and while 100 years is a little overwhelming, the site is not. Even the music is pleasant.
