SOCIAL APP AS ADVERTISING
As part of a broader campaign to reenergize the existing fan base and entice new viewers to the TV show Paranormal State, A&E Television Networks partnered
with Avatar Labs to construct a social app that ran on the series home page. Called "Paranormal Experience," the app invited users to join the Paranormal Research Society in investigating a
client's home. The app connected to Facebook to pull in personal images, names and locations from the user's own past, creating a customized virtual investigation with Society founder Ryan
Buell.
