Cinelatino celebrates its seventeenth anniversary on-air with a showcase of some of the most important films from across Latin America on Oct.12. The lineup includes a mix of award-winning films, such
as "Un Mundo Maravilloso" (A Wonderful World), a fairy tale about the irony of Mexican politics; blockbuster comedy such as "Casi Divas" (Almost Divas) and romantic comedies such as "Elsa y Fred"
(Elsa and Fred), an Argentinean film that won five prestigious international awards, among others. Founded in 1993 by MVS Communications in Mexico City, Cinelatino launched in the United States in
1999 and now has approximately 4 million subscribers throughout the country.
