Hertz To Rent Coda Electric Cars

Electric car company and Santa Monica, Calif.-based Coda Automotive has signed a partnership with the Hertz Corporation that puts Coda cars in southern California Hertz rental fleets, per a joint release.

Hertz says it is looking to put charging stations at rental and car-sharing locations. The company plans full-scale EV rental programs worldwide next year.

Coda will start selling its vehicles next year.
