Hyundai will be official automotive sponsor of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup games. The automaker has been auto sponsor for the past three FIFA World Cups. The company said it decided to renew the
partnership agreement four years ahead of the expiration date.
The additional eight year extension will give Hyundai sponsorship rights to all FIFA competitions, exclusive marketing
opportunities, extensive global media exposure and affiliation with FIFA's special events and development initiatives.
Hyundai was official automotive in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 FIFA
World Cup. The company will provide FIFA transportation for the next twelve years, including the current contract term until 2014.
