DiGennaro Communications, an independent New York-based PR firm specializing in Madison Avenue and media-related companies, has named Howard Schacter president. He was marketing and PR chief at Steve
& Barry's, and previously oversaw global corporate communications for Interpublic's Draft unit. DiGennaro Founder Samantha DiGennaro remains CEO.
