It's snowbird season, and the Caribbean islands have been advertising mightily in markets like New York, where Aruba has been filling the subways with ads about locals. Another island nation is
joining the fray. The Cayman Islands in the western Caribbean has launched a campaign called "Caymankind."
The effort is part of a larger initiative that positions the Cayman
Islands as notable for its people, its places and lifestyle.
Ads feature a Caymankind anthem arranged and recorded in Grand Cayman by local musicians and students. There is also a website
as part of the program at Caymankind.com There are also print and social media elements.
