Kelley Blue Book's latest Market Intelligence Brand Watch study says Ford is the most-considered auto brand among new-car shoppers. The firm says Ford "consistently captured the most-considered
auto brand title from the fourth quarter 2009 through the second quarter last year 2010, but momentarily fell to the No. 2 spot during the third quarter 2010 when Toyota re-captured its previously
held most-considered brand status for that quarter."
The firm says Toyota continues to see fluctuating consideration and currently is back at number two. Ford has also been the
highest-considered brand within the truck segment for nine consecutive quarters, per KBB.com. Currently, Ford is the most-considered brand in the non-luxury SUV/CUV segment, and continues to gain
ground quarter-over-quarter in the non-luxury sedan/coupe/hatchback segment, per the firm.
Toyota and Chevrolet are tied for second place, followed by Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, and BMW.
