Del Valle has become Coca-Cola Company's 15th $1-billion brand, and its first billion-dollar brand to come out of Latin America.
The juice brand had under $500 million in sales with
Coca-Cola acquired it in 2007, according to the company.
Two years ago, Coca-Cola implemented a new visual identity system and packaging design as part of its growth strategy for its
largest global juice brands. Those brands span 1,000 products and have sold more than 1 billion units.
