DPAA Gets Three New Members

The digital out-of-home market is growing by leaps and bounds, and the trend is reflected in the industry's trade organization's expanding membership. This week the Digital Place-Based Advertising Association announced three new members: PlaceWise Media, DOmedia, and Ayuda Media Systems, bringing the total number of members to 31. The newest newbies follow four other companies which joined since the beginning of the year.

PlaceWise Media describes itself as a a provider of interactive marketing solutions to connect brands with consumers across online, mobile, social and screen-based media located in shopping centers. The privately held company, founded in 1997, is based in Denver.

DOmedia bills itself as an out-of-home advertising marketplace, whose mission is to simplify the process of planning, buying and selling alternative, traditional and digital place-based media. Based in Columbus, OH, its services for agencies and advertisers include a search tool to find digital place-based networks that meet their targeted campaign objectives, as well as a planning and proposal platform for agencies to plan and buy multiple digital place-based media campaigns.

Ayuda Media Systems, founded in 2003 by ex-Microsoft employees, provides tools that make DO media easier to manage and buy, including Splash, a cloud-based ERP system for digital place-based networks covering CRM, sales proposal generation, invoicing, business intelligence, CMS, NOC and a free software player.
