Cox Media Group's WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh has hired Cedric Thomas as its new director of sales. He is responsible for all strategic sales efforts for WPXI, Pittsburgh Cable News Channel PCNC, wpxi.com
and Pittsburgh.com. Prior to joining CMG Pittsburgh, Thomas was director of Sales at Scripps ABC affiliate WEWS-TV in Cleveland.
