Honda has found a guy who has driven his Accord sedan very nearly one million miles. He will, in fact, have passed that mile marker sometime in September unless his vehicle spontaneously dissolves, or unless he precedes his vehicle off of this mortal coil.

The man, whom Honda is calling "Joe of Norway" (Maine) drives about 14,000 miles per month in his 1990 Accord. Honda, as part of its effort to tout its vehicle durability, has put him and his car on its Facebook page, video included, at which people can follow his pursuit of the million-mile mark.

He drives an average of 62,500 miles a year and began keeping detailed records at around 300,000 miles, per Honda. He has probably already broken another record: the number of photos any one person has taken of his vehicle's odometer. Honda says the fellow has shot over 661 photos of his Accord's mile meter.
