One percent may not seem like a lot, but when you consider
all of the Web traffic, and just one device, this statistic is pretty amazing.
According to NetMarketShare, Apple's iPad accounts for 2.1% of Web traffic in the U.S. (and 1% of the entire world's). According to the company (and
Mashable, which is reporting the data), all mobile and tablet devices accounted for 5% of Web traffic in June. (Desktop browsing,
meanwhile, has steadily declined since August 2010.
