This series of hubs for
local communities is well done. Each of the hundreds of geographic locations covered - from San Diego to Syracuse - has a group of contributors writing on topics such as nightlife and public
transportation, as well as filing breaking news. The design is content-first and pleasantly unflashy. Once a visitor gets the hang of it, finding desired content is easy and the navigation simple. Yet
the most impressive accomplishment is simply getting something this ambitious off the ground, putting itself in position for growth as local news becomes more and more important.
