An
Online Media Daily story on Aug. 31 noted that a combination of unique users in July for Google and YouTube would almost double Facebook's unique users. Nielsen, however, notes that 93% of
YouTube users also visited Google sites, such as Google Maps and Gmail. So the combined unique users for Google and YouTube would top Facebook's 158.9 million by less than 25 million. Also, the story
should have noted that Wikipedia had 74.6 million unique users in July.
