Electronic Arts has enlisted some high-octane talent (in the form of A-list director Michael Bay) to create advertising for its Need for Speed: The Run racing gaming coming out this holiday
season.
The game trailer features in-game footage to showcase the game’s action-packed sequences. According to the company, Bay spent time playing the game and spoke with the creative
team to get a better feel for the game and the overall Need for Speed franchise. Bay, known for movies such as Armageddon, Transformers and Pearl Harbor, put his own signature style to the
game’s sequences for the trailer, according to the company.
“He’s known for delivering exhilarating, over-the-top, action – exactly what players are looking
forward to experiencing in Need for Speed The Run. We knew from the moment we met with Michael that he was the perfect person to bring our game to life for gamers seeking non-stop
action,” said Jason DeLong, executive producer of “Need for Speed The Run,” in a release.
