Catalyst S+F Launches 'Good Buys Media,' A Gilte Groupe-Like Service For Breaking Media Deals

San Francisco agency Catalyst S+F just unveiled "Good Buys Media," which it describes as a "Gilt Groupe-Like service offering media buyers exclusive, discounted media inventory deals.

"The Good Buys Media service curates a collection of especially good media buys to a managed list of media buyers from agencies and brands on a weekly basis," explains Catalyst Managing Partner John Durham.

In one recent example, the agency said it sent a weekly "Good Buys Media" e-blast to 5,000 media buyers offering Context Logic inventory on WISH, "a social recommendation engine built on top of Facebook that surfaces up goods and services relevant to the consumer based on the consumer’s interests, friends, and context, well below its standard rate card cost."

In another, See Jane Fly offered inventory at half-off for a limited time period on Wayfare a brand new quarterly online magazine that celebrates the journey of travel, offering endless inspiration, instant trip solutions, and the intersection of home, style, and travel.
