HP Personal Systems Reviews Account

  • February 2, 2012

Hewlett-Packard’s Personal Systems Group, which covers business and consumer PCs, mobile computing devices and workstations, has put creative duties on its advertising account into review.

“We’re looking for a new agency because PSG’s future is bright, and we want to new creative agency to help us tell the world,” wrote Marlene Somsak, vice president of worldwide influencer relations, in an email.

Boston-based consultant Pile & Co. will manage the review. The company’s current agencies, 215/McCann and BBDO, are expected to participate, according to Somsak.

According to Adweek Magazine, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the agency most closely associated with the Personal Systems Group (having created campaigns such as “The computer is personal again” and “Everything is possible), resigned the business late last year, ending a 16-year relationship.
