Hewlett-Packard’s Personal Systems Group, which covers business and consumer PCs, mobile computing devices and workstations, has put creative duties on its advertising account into review.
“We’re looking for a new agency because PSG’s future is bright," wrote Marlene Somsak, vice president of worldwide influencer relations, in an email.
Boston-based
consultant Pile & Co. will manage the review. The company’s current agencies, 215/McCann and BBDO, are expected to participate, according to Somsak. According to Adweek, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the agency most closely associated with the Personal
Systems Group -- having created campaigns such as “The computer is personal again” and “Everything is possible -- resigned the business late last year, ending a 16-year
relationship.
