General Mills Acquires Natural Snacks Maker

General Mills has acquired Food Should Taste Good (Needham Heights, Mass.), a maker of natural tortilla chips, sweet potato chips and other snacks sold at retailers across North America. 

The terms were not disclosed.

The company will join General Mills' natural/organic business, Small Planet Foods, which includes brands such as Cascadian Farm, Muir Glen and LÄRABAR.

Food Should Taste Good founder Pete Lescoe will stay on as creative director.
