Paul Eisenstein knows a lot more about this side of things than I, so I'm going to step on my own feet here with his take on something I also wrote about in today's Marketing Daily: J.D. Power's study on autonomous driving. I mention Paul's take because it focuses on something important: autonomous driving will have big uptake with luxury buyers.
"After a late evening that included a few too many drinks, the last thing you’re looking for is driving to work on a Monday morning. No problem. Just plug in your destination, close your eyes and let your autonomous vehicle drive to the office for you," he writes. "What has long been a science fiction fantasy is rapidly coming closer to reality – and a new study by J.D. Power and Associates finds many motorists – especially luxury buyers – intrigued by the prospect of buying an autonomous vehicle."
