CementBloc Sole-cial Experiment Proves Amazing Feat, Er Feet

I saw some amazing feats last week during Internet Week in New York, but one of the best was pulled off by the CementBloc, mainly because it featured, well, some amazing feet.

The digital shop utilized its Internet Week event to celebrate, and draw attention to, its pro bono "Grow Sole" shoe donation campaign created by CementBloc for Girls Right of Way sponsored by the Coore Foundation.

The event featured four dance performances, including this "Forbidden Feet" version.

The event also had four photo booths where attendees could get their "sole portraits" (you know, pictures of their shoes), where were uploaded to Flickr in real-time:

And of course, there were plenty of real-time, contemporaneous postings and tweets going on too.

The shop even catered in "sole food" to fete attendees stomachs, as well as their feet.
