TuneIn, a service that allows people to listen to the world’s music, sports and news online, has formed strategic alliances with more than
20 major broadcasting companies, whose total number of stations top 600. The company said it now carries 70,000 stations, an increase of 52% over last year. Broadcasters such as Bloomberg Radio and
Fox News Radio joined TuneIn, which claims more than 30 million active monthly listeners. TuneIn will provide each broadcaster with free analytics through TuneIn Amplifier and access to the audio
service’s ad platform.
