Intel Corp. has teamed with Rovio to launch an Intel-branded version of its iconic "Angry Birds" game for Facebook. While
the "Angry Birds" characters remain the same, the branded edition features an Intel-blue circuit board background, Intel Core chips and mini-circuit boards throughout.
The new game, accessed
through Intel's Facebook page on the desktop, also allows fans to get more information about Intel-powered Ultrabook devices. To help promote the release, Intel is running ads with mobile ad network
Jumptap within the original versions of "Angry Birds" and "Angry Birds Space."
Jumptap will deliver 50 million impressions for the campaign, which highlights Ultrabooks and drive people to
Intel's Facebook page to play its version of "Angry Birds."
The companies said the branded "Angry Birds" release is the first of more joint initiatives among Rovio, Intel and Jumptap to come
before year's end.
