To get shoppers excited about holiday decorating, Sears shoppers can enter to win a Ty Pennington makeover for the holidays, including indoor decorations and outdoor lighting, as well as four new tires and a $1,000 gift card. And at its Kmart stores, efforts include the chance to win a holiday shopping spree with Sandra Lee or Jaclyn Smith,

And it’s urging Kmart shoppers to “Decorate it forward,” selling a $5 collectible bear ornament to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (For each bear sold Kmart will donate an additional $1.)
