Coca-Cola has increased its stake in Innocent Drinks to almost 100%, prompting the smoothie makers’ founders to step down from the day to day running of the business by selling the
majority of their remaining shares to the soft drinks giant. Innocent co-founders Richard Reed, Adam Balon and Jon Wright will retain a minority equity holding and sit on an executive committee, which
will continue to support the business as it enters the next phase of expansion.
