Mobile Reshaping Coupon Use

A new study reports that 73% of Americans say they use coupons at least several times a month, and that they are increasingly using digital coupons and promotional codes. Smartphones are a big part of their shopping strategy, with 67% of smartphone owners saying they occasionally check their cell to see if there is a better price somewhere else. The survey, conducted by Linkable Networks, also finds that while 78% say the Sunday paper is their main coupon source, 61% use online sites. Women (67%) are more likely than men (56%) to search for online coupons and deals.
