Eggland's
Best, the largest egg brand in the U.S., is searching for a "CEO" -- but there's no corporate shakeup involved.
In this case, CEO stands for "Chief Egg Officer" -- an honorary title to be bestowed on an Eggland's Best fan who is judged to be the primo advocate for the brand, based on a contest.
Between May 13 and July 31, aspiring "CEO" candidates can enter the contest by touting their Eggland brand-advocacy credentials on a dedicated area of Eggland's Web site.
Candidates will be independently judged on the creativity of their entries, their affinity for Eggland’s Best eggs, and their ability to represent the brand.

The grand-prize winner will
be awarded $5,000 and a year’s supply of Eggland’s Best eggs. Two runners-up will each be awarded $500 and a six-month supply of EB eggs.
On Sept. 9, EB will reveal the top
dozen entry candidates on its site, so that site users/brand fans can vote (by Sept. 30) on their favorite candidate.
The three candidates with the highest scores will reach the finals, and those finalists will be presented with a last opportunity to demonstrate why they would make the best Chief Egg Officer.
Between Oct. 28 and Nov. 17, consumers can learn more about the three finalists before voting one last time for their favorite candidate.
In early December, EB will announce the official Chief Egg Officer/grand-prize winner.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win the contest.
