Facebook has tapped Gary Briggs -- most recently chief marketer of Google’s Motorola Mobility unit -- as its first CMO. As AdAge reports, Briggs will be replacing Eric Antonow, who, as vice
president of product marketing, has overseen Facebook’s marketing efforts since 2010. “The change in title reflects an expanded scope for the role,” AdAge writes.
