Shoutlet Names Herrington CEO

Social media marketing platform Shoutlet has named Mark Herrington as its new CEO, succeeding Jason Weaver.

 

Herrington previously help leadership positions with First Data Corp. including EVP, global product management and innovation. He joined First Data through its acquisition of Money Network, a company Herrington co-founded in 2001 providing an automated payroll distribution system.

 

His background also includes sales and management roles at enterprise software firm i2 Technologies, McCormick & Associates and Oracle Crop.

 

Shoutlet’s cloud-based social marketing platform helps companies to manage their social media presence and run campaigns on sites like Facebook, Twitter and Google+. The Madison, WI-based company, which boasts use by more than 600 brands and agencies, has raised more than $24 million in venture funding to date, including a $15 million round announced in June led by FTV Capital.
