WPP's GroupM's MEC unit has promoted Christine Stack to managing partner-people & culture, North America.  She reports to Marla Kaplowitz, CEO, North America, and joins the North American executive committee.

She joined MEC in 2011 in an undisclosed role focusing on senior talent recruitment. She previously held vice president positions at Publicis' MediaVest and Interpublic's Universal McCann units.

“As the role and impact of HR continues to evolve, there exists an opportunity to organizationally transform this function to better align with our agency philosophy and genuine commitment to nurturing and developing our people,”  Kaplowitz said in a statement announcing Stack's new role.
