Pizza Hut is promoting its new 3-Cheese Stuffed Crust Pizza with a tweet-based promotion in which fans will vie to be among the first to get to try the QSR's latest offering.
The 3-Cheese
variety, a permanent new menu item, is a variation on Pizza Hut's original Stuffed Crust line, which generated $350 million in sales in its first year alone, after it was introduced in 1995.
For the new variety, Pizza Hut first rewarded fans by announcing a "3-Cheese Tease": It identified the three U.S. Pizza Hut locations that have sold more original Stuffed Crust Pizzas than any
other U.S. restaurants, and announced that, between October 7 and October 13, these would be the only restaurants where the new 3-Cheese variety would be available.
At the same time, the
QSR invited fans to use tweets to determine which U.S. restaurant would be the next to offer the new 3-Cheese Stuffed Crust pizzas.
Twitter followers are being invited to hashtag
their #[CityST] and #3CheeseStuffed (between October 7 and October 9).

The city with the most tweets will be announced October 10, and Pizza Hut will select one restaurant in that market to
offer 3-Cheese Stuffed Crust beginning October 14.
After tweeting their votes, fans can track their city’s progress on a digital heat map at
3CheeseStuffed.com.
The national roll-out of the new pizza offering is set for October 20.
