The California Tobacco Control Program has issued a request for proposals for its advertising campaign. The five-year contract begins July 1, 2014 and runs through June 30, 2019. The CTCP advertising
campaign would target California’s general market and selected ethnic and priority population markets to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use and secondhand smoke. The account is
worth approximately $75 million over the five-year period. The RFP will be posted Dec.2
online. The Stage 1 Proposal is due on Dec. 20. On December 11, the CTCP
will host a webinar where agencies can ask questions about the RFP process. Those interested in participating can email
CTCPMediaRFP@cdph.ca.gov for
further information and login access to the webinar.
