Omaha Steaks is celebrating the
250th anniversary of the U.S. with a campaign running across broadcast TV and the brand’s digital channels throughout the summer.
To send its message that meals mark both
family and American history, the company enlisted Oscar-winning actor Kevin Costner to narrate the spot.
The creative,
co-produced by WTA (Walz Tetrick Advertising) and in-house, charts key moments in the last century — from wartime homecomings to the 1969 moon landing. The ad locates the dinner table as a
symbol of continuity across generations.
The 109-year-old Omaha Steaks is positioned as part of that connection.
“The world moves fast, and life pulls us in a hundred different
directions, but the dinner table is still where family comes together. Those moments are too important to lose. We can’t afford to let family dinner fall through the cracks. Omaha Steaks has
been helping families keep that tradition and foundation strong for a very long time,” said Costner.
