Nearly half (44%) of Americans use a second screen while watching TV, according to a just-released study by NATPE and the Consumer Electronics Association that indicates "there are opportunities to
increase [second screens’] appeal." For among the second-screen users, "only 13 percent say that it makes the program-viewing experience 'much more enjoyable,'" writes Alex Ben Block. "A
significant 67 percent report that it makes their TV viewing 'somewhat more enjoyable.'"
