Dr Pepper/Seven Up announced that Hispanic ad agency Mercury Mambo has been selected to handle the Hispanic marketing initiatives for the company's soft drink portfolio, including flagship products Dr Pepper and 7 UP as well as Sunkist, Hawaiian Punch and Welch’s. The programs presented for 2003, including a variety of sweepstakes and the development of complimentary materials, are currently in development. The first program is expected to be in market by early July.
