Preston Spire was named Agency of Record for Meet Minneapolis, the city’s destination marketing organization.
The first work is expected in early
2027.
The agency’s charge is to position the metro as a valued destination for travel and conventions, while adding to the city's economic
growth.
Minneapolis was hard hit by COVID in 2020 and political unrest with ICE in early 2026 added to its troubles. While it has been busy rebuilding its visitor sector, it has not
returned to 2019 benchmarks.
Based in the city, the agency hopes to change that picture.
Jennifer Spire, CEO Preston Spire, told Accounts on the Move:
“Minneapolis doesn’t manufacture experiences for tourists, we just open up what’s already here. Our arts
scene, our restaurants, our sports culture, all of it is genuinely amazing. And it grew out of people who wanted something great and simply went and built it for
themselves.”

Courtney S. Ries, senior vice president of destination branding and strategy, Meet Minneapolis, said the agency
“demonstrated it had the temerity and vision to weave together Minneapolis' multiple dimensions — its warmth, creativity, grit and pride — into a narrative
that underscores the city as a unique, in-demand locality.”
Preston Spire has done work for Nickelodeon Universe, UCare and Wings Financial.
