Healthcare communications firm LaVoie Strategic Communications Group has named Aurora Krause as account supervisor for investor relations and corporate communications. Krause was most recently at Synta Pharmaceuticals, where she helped build the company's investor relations and communications presences following its initial public offering in 2007.

“Aurora brings experience focused on building and implementing investor relations and corporate communications programs in the healthcare and life science markets,” said Donna LaVoie, president and chief executive officer of LaVoie Group, in statement Tuesday.
