Rocket Fuel Partners With 27 Companies, Adds Mobile To Its Package

Rocket Fuel on Thursday announced the general launch of its Mobile Advertising Suite. The new toolset has been used by over 200 advertisers in a closed beta for several months.

The programmatic ad company has teamed with 27 mobile partners for the launch, including Flurry, BlueKai, MoPub, Celtra and Factual.

Rocket Fuel’s “mobile RTB supply” partners -- 16 of them -- will provide inventory directly to Rocket Fuel, and the company claims it will offer “the broadest mobile reach across tablets and smartphones on all operating systems.”

It was only a matter of time before Rocket Fuel rolled out a toolset for mobile; an increasing number of advertisers have been looking for a single platform on which they can run multi-channel campaigns. Rocket Fuel now supports advertising across display, video, social and mobile.

“Marketers are recognizing more and more that even though a smaller screen, mobile provides a compelling stage for storytelling that moves brands closer to their consumers than ever before,” stated Greg Stuart, CEO, Mobile Marketing Association. He believes Rocket Fuel's support of mobile advertising represents how digital marketing companies are accepting the channel.

Rocket Fuel is well positioned to step into mobile, as it has “built its reputation” on Big Data, stated Gil Elbaz, co-founder and CEO of Factual. As one would expect, location-based targeting will be supported through the new suite, as will in-app and rich media ads.
