Foursquare Opens Up About Programmatic Ads

Advertising Age on Thursday posted an article about Fourqaure, and how the company is working with Turn to deliver ads on PCs, tablets and phones.

“Foursquare is formalizing its entry into the programmatic ad world as it moves to diversify beyond ads within the Foursquare app and generate more revenue from its trove of location data,” the post reads.

The company has used Turn for display ads on the Web since “late spring of last year,” while “mobile inventory was added to the mix in early fall.”
