Mobile Ad Spend On Pace To Rise 75.1% To $31B

Facebook and Google collectively represented an increase of $6.92 billion in net mobile ad revenue in 2013. These two companies accounted for more than two-thirds of worldwide mobile ad spending in 2013, which will rise slightly in 2014, according to eMarketer. Last year marketers spent about 105.0% more on mobile advertising, contributing $17.96 billion to the coffer, according to new figures from the research firm.
