ABC is working with Google to promote the new TV show “Rising Star” online via a programmatic exchange that “only places ads in prominent positions, ones that are not typically
associated with automated buying,” Adweek reports.
The exchange features masthead inventory from “several hand-selected premium publishers, including Wenner Media,”
Adweek notes, citing a “person familiar with the arrangement.”
