Saatchi & Saatchi New York promoted Wanda Pogue to chief strategy officer, up from global planning director, where she led communication strategies for P&G global brands such as Olay, Tide and
Ariel. In her new role, she will report to Brent Smart, CEO of Saatchi New York and partner with Jay Benjamin, chief creative officer. She also becomes a member of the agency's leadership team. Pogue
began her career in Marketing Research, soon moving to the agency side, where she specialized in US Hispanic and multicultural markets for several years. She then moved into a regional strategic
planning role at Saatchi & Saatchi in Latin America. Pogue replaces Claudine Cheever who is leaving the agency at the end of July for a new position within Publicis Groupe. Cheever joined Saatchi
& Saatchi NY in 2009 and most recently served as chief strategic officer.
